GSA to Roll Out Changes in April 2017

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) last month released information about a planned schedule-wide Mass Modification that will refresh all GSA MAS Contracts in April.
According to the GSA, the government intends this mass modification to unify applicable regulations across all schedule solicitations, such as with the incorporation of the GSA’s Eligibility to Use GSA Sources of Supply and Services. This specific change went into effect in July 2016, but the GSA is taking action now to make sure all solicitations reference the correct source list.
The biggest changes we expect to see rolled out after this solicitation refresh are those related to small business subcontracting program.

Potential GSA Schedules Program Errors Under Review

The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) announced on September 12, 2016 that its IT Schedule 70 has established four (4) new Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services (HACS) Special Item Numbers (SINs). IT Schedule 70 -- an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award schedule (MAS) that provides direct access to products, services, and solutions from more than 4,700 certified industry partners -- is the largest GSA Schedule.

GSA Proposes Including Direct Costs in Schedules Program
